About

Abel Njeru, MA

Counselling Psychologist and Spiritual Director

Registered with the Counsellors and Psychologists Board · Licence No. C&P/P/3292/1719

I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and work from an integrative, biopsychosocial-spiritual approach. That means taking seriously everything that shapes your wellbeing: your history, your relationships, your body, your culture and your faith.

Many of the people I walk with are in religious life or formation, but my door is open to everyone, of any faith or none. Faith is welcomed in the room when it matters to you, and never imposed.

What you can expect

  • Confidentiality. What you share stays private, with the few legal and safety exceptions explained at the start.
  • Collaboration. We set goals together and review progress regularly.
  • Evidence-based care. Recognised methods and questionnaires, used to help you, not to label you.
  • Respect. For your culture, your pace and your beliefs.
  • Honesty. If another professional could help you better, I will say so and help you get there.
